Madi Cheever MPH, RD, LDN, CHES

Hi there, I'm Madi!

A Diabetes Coach, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Health Education Specialist, and Master of Public Health with type 1 diabetes and a passion for people.

Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2012, I shifted my initial fear into a passion for health education. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition with a minor in Communication Studies from the University of Alabama, followed by a Master of Public Health in Health Education & Promotion.

Roll Tide!

I've had the privilege of working with diverse groups, including the military, to improve health and well-being. Notably, I developed the 'PANTS' strategy for the Space Force Health Promotion Department focusing on physical activity, nutrition, tobacco cessation, and sleep.

I have also been sharing my insights as a keynote speaker for the University of Alabama's Medical Nutrition Therapy I class since 2018, inspiring future dietetic professionals with my personal experiences.

With a book on the way, I'm excited to continue educating and inspiring others.
